A Device Instance that was embedded into a Patient. This class is used to describe a manufactured item (which may include biological material) that is or was at one time introduced into the Patient’s system.

Attributes
DeviceInstance	deviceInstance	Pointer to the device implanted in the Patient.
«TS» PointInTime	explantDate	The date (and optionally, time) that the device was removed from the Patient. Note that this property will likely move to a separate Implantation/Explantation Act class, but it may well be likely that this information would be duplicated in the record of the Device Instance, so it may remain as part of this class as well.

Boolean	isReusedDevice	This optional property is a placeholder for information indicating whether the Device Instance was utilized previously in either the same Patient or a previous Patient.
