Contract

This FHIM domain represents a legally-enforceable agreement between two or more parties, such as between a patient and a provider, or a provider and the payer having fiduciary responsibility for the patient. This domain includes such items as advance directives, and security/privacy-related constructs, and even includes corporate or jurisdictional policies where the patient is not individually identified (e.g., a standard privacy policy issued by a hospital). Currently the contents of this domain are nearly identical to the FHIR Contract resource, but some constructs may be replaced with or be reused by the Security And Privacy domain.
